About Us
La Petite Locherie is an 18th-century Maison de Maitre situated in the heart of the Limousin countryside. Our property is surrounded by just under 50 acres of rolling hills, woodland, ponds, a lake, and bordered by the river Brame. Our idyllic views create the perfect relaxing retreat for our guests.
Our Rooms
At La Petite Locherie, we take pride in providing our guests with the best possible experience. Our spacious bedrooms offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our New York Suite has a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, Sony Bravia 42inch smart TV, desk with lamp, USB ports, a comfortable office chair and tea and coffee facilities. Our Africa suite has a double bed with 42 inch smart Panasonic TV, Desk with Lamp, USB ports, office chair and full tea and coffee making facilities. It has a large private bathroom with bath and shower however, it is not en suite. Stay connected with our free WiFi available for the duration of your stay. Our eco-friendly hot tub can accommodate up to 6 people and has both hydro jets and air jets, providing you with the ultimate luxury experience under the stars. Oradour Saint Genest is only a five-minute walk from our bed and breakfast. The town has a beautiful fishing lake, which is available to guests with a daily pass. Relax with a drink at the local bar and restaurant, or admire the historic 'Lantern de Mort', which dates back to the 900s. In just a seven-minute drive, you can reach Le Dorat, which has a cinema, pharmacy, hairdressers, supermarket and restaurants. With so much to explore, there's something for everyone in the surrounding area.
